Originally from NYC, Miranda Norris moved with her family to Naples, FL after 9/11. They have been homeschooling all along, and spend much of each year unschooling their three lovely children. Practicing Episcopalians, they like exploring many different philosophies and schools of thought privately, but believe statewide homeschooling organizations best serve the most people by being first secular, then inclusive, and that there should be transparency of mission.

Miranda was briefly Interim Director of Homeschoolers of Collier County, has had a successful family business, is active in her church, and has served on countless committees. She studied and worked in Advertising, but now prefers baking cookies and investing in real estate and her children. She’s extremely exited about SHEAF and can’t wait for the first convention!
