Secular Home Educators Association of Florida is organized to provide support for underserved secular homeschool families in Florida. Envision a community that offers advice, help, and knowledge to Florida homeschoolers regardless of differences. Building this community is the primary goal of SHEAF. Through embracing the wonderful diversity of Florida’s homeschooling community our families can thrive and grow together.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Secular Home Educators Association of Florida is to support families in exercising their right to homeschool regardless of age, ethnic background, family composition, financial condition, method of homeschooling, race, religion or lack thereof, sexual orientation, or special education needs. SHEAF provides assistance to homeschoolers through networking, educational forums and a state convention.
